We don't use dishes. We just drop them in the tub and pull out what they don't eat. Guessing this wouldn't work well if you have a natural looking viv, too many placed to hide.
For any Worms in the Tank....tips.
Deep Dish so no escapes.
Food item (carrot slice keeps them lively) in bottom.
Build up a resting ledge(rock/slate) for the Gecko to rest,
look in, and choose from.
Set up photo has meal in one and water in the larger.....
If Supers I use the water size bowl(white in the back)
for them...no problems.
If used for water, put pebbles in it to keep from little ones drowning.
WALMART about a buck. Condiments bowl section.
Take care. HJ
I use the exact same white bowl that you see in the forefront of the photo posted by Geckogathering. I got it for a dollar at a dollar tree (because honestly, who wants to spend more money than you have to on worms) and bought a $3 plastic spray paint to make them dark brown like the ecoearth I burry the bowl in, so it looks nicer. I have 4, one for each tank, and each bowl is still smooth and tall enough so that not even the super worms can climb out.
