I was just wondering, I know what I am supposed to feed my geckos (when I get them! :D) but how many crickets to I give them? And do I feed then the tiny crickets?

Also I bought dead mealworms..and calcium stuff, but I wondering if I bought the right calcium. Its called Leopard Gecko Calcium Plus. umm its a T-Rex brand..is it okay to feed?

All but the tiniest of hatchlings should be able to handle adult crickets. You probably won't have much luck with the dead mealworms, most leos are enticed to feed by movement. Calcium plus is a great supplement, in my opinion it's the best on the market.

i prefer half grown or 3/4 grown for hatchlings, adults crickets seem to be rather large. i would go for live mealworms. as far as calcium, i say go for the classic, rep-cal calcium without d3. i have used it for years with great success.

I wouldn't use crickets collected from a garage, they could be exposed to any number of nasty chemicals like gasoline, antifreeze, engine oil, brake fluid, and whatever else may come in on the car or be stored out there. You would be better off getting crickets from the pet store.

Oh alright :) Thanks..so they can have those HUGE crickets I find in my garage?
nonono, you do not want to feed your geckos, "wild bugs" (they can contain pesticides and all other kinds of yuckies) you want to buy your crickets from a pet store or cricket breeder. you can buy mealworms from pet stores as well
