Can you tell me about the hypo gene for milii? i can't find any info regarding this trait. Is it simple recessive?

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "light and ultra light" phase? Could you please clarify?
I've kept both the southern and eastern localities of U. milii for many years, including individuals that were "hypo" or "orange hypo". I tried my best to answer his questions privately via email so please don't think he was ignored!

Jon, I really dig the geckos you sent me! So far, they are doing great! For the record, Jon did explain his perspective on the subject to me via email. It's was a great experience to deal with Jon.
