I tried the small box technique today and he wouldn't eat.

Well, try again this evening. Free range crickets can end up snacking on sleeping leos.

I transferred all my tanks to paper towell substrate. CLeaned and sanatized all tanks, then put paper towell substrate down. Doesn't look too bad either. Put in a dish with mealies and calcium in, fresh water.
