Hey, don't get me wrong, I have done my research and understand that impactation is a big issue when in comes to substrates like woodchips and sand. I am keeping my leo on kitchen roll at the moment, but it can get messy fast and needs replacing often..
I was wondering if forest bed by t-red the coconut fibre is okay for leos?
it says harmless if ingested and I have some spare..

I heard of people using it but my concern is humidity problems.
And I know they can still ingest it.
Go for reptile carept or tile, tile being your best bet

you would still have the impaction issue. Any losse substact can cause impactation. If you read the calci- sand it claims to be safe if ingested as well. I know for a fact it isn't because I had 1 leopard gecko get impacted while using calci-sand.

i use tile for my bearded dragon, so i can tell you its really easy to maintain. if you dont plan on moving the tank you might want to grout them in too so nothing can get under them. otherwise debris, small crickets, poo, etc... can all get under there and they have to be pulled periodically and cleaned.

ceramic tile is way too easy to care for--pull it out now & then spray it down & rinse. Done. It holds heat well & looks nice too.
