I printed that Tiger image back in 2000 and sold it for $900 matted. The print was 24x36 from a drumscan(this scan came from a nikon 2700dpi scanner)

oops... the matted image was 24x36.

To be honest, anyone can take a good image with some patience and a decent camera. I have been shooting with friends who had a Drebel and a 70-300 that got better images than me!

That fox was shot with a original 1D and a 100-400IS at around 250mm...I think. I had a 1Ds / 600F4IS with me, but was getting head shots for the client with that. I sold my 1Ds/600F4IS last fall due to a very expensive situation that came up

I took images for a client once with a 3.2 MP fuji P&S digi, they paid me far more than the $200 the camera cost me 2 years prior!

I am just so burnt out lately with photography that I don't bother to get great images of my geckos .
