Good to hear! But take it easy. Just because there is no pain does not mean you are completely healed yet!

I am joining your FX club
Hi There well I guess I am joining the fractured back club. About 6 days ago I was laying on my back against the car and my 70 pound daughter jumped on me. I sceamed for her to get off and as I tried to straighten out severe spasms started and this sharp with burning pain in my lower back on the spine started with numbness going down my leg. So I have a stress Fx, ruptured disk and sciatica! Oh my Please tell me how long this will take to stop hurting and also heal. I am in a corset type thing on a few meds and semi bed rest. Oh and when I am up I can't bend, twist, lift more than 10 pounds ect. And here its Christmas the last few days for shopping. So now its wheelchair time if I am going top buy gifts!!!! Man this sucks! Deb

Sorry double post! But I wanted to add that I too can't believe they only gave you motrin 800. I got demerol and tordol(sp) injections and percocet, 5 days of tordol( max amount because it can cause internal bleeding) and Zanaflex. Deb

wow sorry to hear that. I'm surprised all you got was Ibu (800s I assume) Im on the ambulance and anyone who gets as much as a sprain around here is doped up with enough codeine to tranquelize a horse. The local Dr's around here would probably have you on morphine haha. This town really is terrible with Dr's. But definatly dont try to over do urself the marines will be tough.
