Free samples of pre-made Beardie chow?

So, has anyone ever come across any site that sends free samples of beardie chow? I'd hate to buy a container of chow only for my Bobaface to turn his nose up at it like he does everything else.

Good point, but he refuses anything but hornworms and silkies :S

Right now I basically have superworms, dubias, crix, and mealies as pets who are being treated to the best foods available. Basically, whatever food I try to give him and he turns his nose up at. Plus some.

I personally would just stick with the fresh foods over something pre-made, often they have preservatives in and not needed sugars in it I just would prefer to avoid.

Oh I know for a fact that as soon as my hornworms and silkies get here on friday he'll eat them up like a starved dog. I'll try shredding his veggies into smaller bits so he'll end up grabbing mouthfulls of those plus the bugs.

We tried a day old mouse pinkie before several years ago, he didn't agree with it either 9_9

Try bee pollen on the veggies they flip for it!:main_thumbsup:

I feed mine brussel sprouts leaves and tiny pieces of strawberries or raspberries with mealworms underneath so that they veggies move and catch his eye. then he eats it all up worms too!

good luck. feel free to send me the dubia. i'm thinking baout starting a bredding colony of dubia, but i want to saee if he likes them first.
