Freshly shed Rango!

Rango finished shedding yesterday and is looking quite nice. I've been working him up to several minutes of handling a day, and he's getting accustomed to it slowly. He's very active, so getting good pictures with my little PAS camera is a challenge, but I'm getting the hang of it.

I need new batteries in my scale so I can keep track of his weight. After keeping nothing but slow-growing colubrids for years it seems like he's just shooting up in size! He's quite the little piglet too, I'm going through feeder insects much faster than I thought I would!!

Anywho, I think he's adorable, love his color, and I'm thrilled with him.

Good Job Rango

The last one as a baby that I had with that many tiny spots,
when he got bigger, I had to name "Specks."
Think Rango is going to be another Specks as the bands
most likely break up.

I knew i should have had the name copyrighted, then again, tis not really a girl name.
Your rango is beautiful, what a great pattern, loving the spots. Cant wait to see how he develops as he matures.

Your Rango is lovely too, what a great tail!! My Rango looks like he's going ot turn out to be a girl too, we'll see. Doesn't matter since he's just a pet.
