Do leos like fruit as a summer treat? I know they dont really have it in their diet but if they did get it and ate it would they enjoy it and would it be safe? I have always wanted to give my gecko a piece of watermelon or something but I never had anyone to ask until now lol.

Yeah they can have fruit. I feed mine peach baby food (stage one organic) as a treat. They seem to enjoy it. Gets kinda messy tho! lol

You can mix in calcium and vitamins to make it a treat with added benefits.

wow where have i been? never heard of this until now, i feel like i have been denying them alternative sustinance. 1 question how do they know to eat it? most of what ive noticed about hunting time is based on movement.

some people put a dab on their nose first, then they lick it off and if they like it they will then eat from a spoon or dish
