My question as well, my geck was born 8-1-07 and is 8 1/2" nose to tail. How big will he get, how much longer will he grow?

If somebody is feeling ambitious, what is a typical length and weight for a growing gecko at say 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 yr...just curious like those above.

Leos don't really stop growing but they do slow down considerably after a year or so. That's why it's not uncommon 6 year old males passing the 100g mark without having any giant genes.

Oh, and all Leos grow at different rates just like people so it's difficult to give an average size at a certain age.

As far as I know, it generally takes about a year to reach full size. Of course it can be sooner or later with certain geckos, but that seems to be the norm. I'm not even going to attempt the typical length and weight by month being that my 1 gecko is hardly an average of the species...

EDIT: Of course weight can always increase or decrease, it is more length that might have more of a timestamp.

yeah, i suppose it would be tough to timeline an average growth rate for a leo.

Maybe I'll try to do that with my youngster, he/she is a normal and feeding on mealies, so it might exhibit pretty average growth.

Most usually bottom out at around 6 months old and begin fattening up. They will continue to grow throughout their life but you won't really be able to tell. At a year old, you're usually looking at what they'll be like for the rest of their life.

Also, as far as a timeline, as previously mentioned, it's very hard to accurate compose a timeline but I find that within the first month hatchlings will usually weigh up to 10g. After that they can gain between 5-10g per month depending on how much they're fed and such. I have seen monster babies that are almost full size within 3 months and there are those who grow slow and although they're healthy, they keep their small stature.
