Funky smell

I bought a female for my solitary male 3 days ago. Before I put them in together I cleaned out the terrarium from top to bottom, disinfectant included.

Long story short they went on to do their thing a number of times, and I've noticed today that theirs this wierd smell in there. Like day old sweat or something like that.

Did anyone else have this going on?

well first of all i gather you did not quarantine them since you only bought the female 3 days ago. i have no clue as to the smell i never smell sweat after my geckos mate. thing is though if your geckos has an diseases, illness or parasites and did not quarantine your male could not have them. if it is her poo that is smelling like that, thats not good. do you even know if she is eating? is she large enough to breed? was she even ovulating when you put them together. there is so much more to breeding than letting a male and female be together.

I think she ment to say the male could now have the disease. Quarantine is the only way to keep disease from spreading. It alows time to see a problem and treat it

if there is any type of disease. who knows? it's only been three days
