Ok, I had a very strange dream last night about Tinley. It was being held at another hotel (seemed like another city too), and instead of going straight to Tinley, we (me, Felicia, Paul, Nancy, and some people from high school - lol) went to the hotel first. Everyone wanted to go to their rooms first, so I started to walk. It should have been a block or two (I could see it).
Well, I'm almost there, and I come to a muddy ditch, and find some guys scrambling to put together my AP racks. They were using weird tools like hedge trimmers, the jaws-of-life, and Elmer's glue to put it together. It looked HORRIBLE. The edges would just crumble in your hands. They said I shouldn't worry because they aren't done yet.
So, then I try to get into the show itself, but because I'm in the ditch, I can't see it anymore and I get lost. I wander for like 4 hours. During the wandering I find some people having a strong-man contest - redneck style. Then, there was a house filled with hippies, too stoned to give me directions. And finally, I got trapped in a house/boarding school with a psycopathic killer. I managed to escape somehow.
I FINALLY find a road, and just as I do, one of the people from high school comes roaring up in a corvette-like car and says he's looking for me EVERYWHERE. He has to go, saw Tinley already, he's going to be late for a business meeting. I beg him to drop me off at Tinley - I want to go really bad! He agrees and I climb into the 3rd row seat (LOL). Soon, I see he went to the airport and not Tinley...so I remind him and he turns around.
I finally arrive at Tinley, and get my wrist band, and try to head in ... and I can't figure out where to go! There are 3 other shows going on too, and no signs. There's a food/chef show, an exotic animal show, and something like a fashion show. As soon as I think I'm getting to the Reptile show, I find myself in the middle of one of the other shows...and there are so many people and the booths have no orginization, so I can't find my way out.
In the exotic animal show, there was an area FILLED with all kinds of beautiful birds, that would lift up their tails and poop on you as you walked by. They also had a water "ride" that was pretty cool. It was only a 1/2" of water, which you stood in, and it would move you uphill, upsidedown, all sorts of crazy stuff. That was fun...but it spit me out in the middle of the fashion show.
I finally get someone to direct me to the REPTILE show, and it's too late. The show is closed for the day. I spent the WHOLE day being lost.

Oh, maybe I should say that this is a "normal-ish" dream for me. LOL My dreams are always odd.
So, speaking of Tinley ... do we have plans to get together yet??? Are we going to go to a restraunt, someone's room, etc?
