so about 10 minutes ago im holding my largest male...hes about 100g...i didnt realize it but im tapping my fingers to a beat of a song that was on and all of a sudden BAM!...he bites the crap outta me haha...he held on for just over a minute before he let go...ive been bit before cuz ive owned so many...but never once did it actually draw a little bit of blood haha....i was very suprised lol....this same gecko used to bark at me for the first month i had him but iono i kinda think its funny how agressive he is...at least he has personality

that's a good story, I think it's funny when they bite too :main_laugh: Only one of my geckos has bit me, but it's a big male and he holds on for a few seconds..I thought it was kind of cute because he seeemed like he was being protective of the females he's housed with..it definitely gives some insight into their personalities

I got bit a few weeks ago by my biggest and most mellow gecko --I bring him to shows so the kids can hold him. I had separated him for a few days to rekindle his interest in the ladies and I guess he was a little freaked out. When I opened his cage he bolted. I was on the phone and the cats were in the room. I tried to grab him and he bit me. I have the imprint of his upper and lower jaws in a heart shape below my thumb. Now, of course, he's calm as ever.

haha yeah same as mine...i was actually trying to have my gf hold him...but uh yeah you know what happened....i dont mind the occasional nibble...but yeah he hooked me up lol

lol that's too funny! I had a gecko come at me once...I learned after that he was a male and not a female like i had originally thought and I had gotten to close to 'his girls'. I have actually had a female bite me on my chest...don't know what got into her...I think she got scared and just latched on to the side crazy

I just had a gecko, bite me about an hour or two ago. Those dang Blizzards. I knew he would get me sooner or late. He drew some blood to, first time I was ever, really bitten. I’ve just had nibbles before.

Last week I had a blazing blizzard het diablo blanco hatch and he came out of his egg with attitude. He couldn't shake the shell off right away, got mad and bit the shell. Twice. Then when it was ready to remove him from the egg container the little devil bit me 4 times in the short distance from the incubator to the lizard room. To cute, makes me smile just thinking about it.

Their isn't a lot of pain involved. I have been bit probably 50 times and each time startles you like the first. You are just not ready for it...I try not to get bit because it is a little stressful to the gecko..

We only have one biter a giant male. He only seems to bite me. He is my husbands "baby". I threaten to take him back to Aubrey all the time. He forgot to tell me that he was part attack dog when I bought him,LOL.

I got bit by a really aggressive supposed female in 2nd grade, but I am starting to think it was a male, cuz the other female was calm and everything and would let the kids at school hold her. The other one would hiss and bite when kids would go to pick it up or the other girl.

Lol, isn't it great, how hatchling bites don't hurt. Just hope he grows out of that.
