Furminator!

i bought this thing yesterday after hearing so many good things about it. it is freakin awesome. i have 2 siberian huskys and my god the amount of hair i took off was unreal.. im still not done yet..ill upload the pic later today of all the hair i removed.

LOL!!! This is what I got my two Maine Coon cats for Christmas! I thought it was a great idea... them, not so much. haha!

They are used to it now, and wow... it REALLLLLY helps get rid of all the shedding! I can't wait to see your pictures! Maybe I'll take some the next time I 'Furminate' my cats.

Do you guys think it would work on short haired dogs as well? Our Bulldog leaves white hair everywhere, I've never owned a dog who sheds so bad.

TOTALLY! I've also got two pugs... and those two shed like mad... I Ferminate them too!

they work on all cats and dogs haha...except poodles and other curly haired dogs...like the portugese water dog and stuff like that

we use the furminator on my 6 cats and chocolate lab. when we finish with my dog we have a pile of fur big enough to hide 4 of the cats... pretty scary

I guess this got bumped by a spammer but it is a good thread! We did get a furminator since then and I couldn't believe how well they work. Ariana, I can imagine how big your pile is because even our bulldog and chihuahua produce at least baseball sized hair ball. lol

Does it work for double coat dogs like shih tzus? I would love to get one if it does.

I think they work on every coat except for curly coats and coats that have to be stripped. Our long haired Chihuahua has lots of wispy fine hairs under his long outer coat and it easily combs those out without removing the healthy long hairs.

Haha yes they are amazing for everything. I own a husky & an australian cattle dog & it works freakin wonders. Not to mention I work at vet hospital and we use them in our grooming department with great success. I've used it on my cat & rabbit as well Nothing but great reviews here!
