Garrett is not eating and sleepy

Hello,

Recently I changed my leo's cage around. I moved his moist hide from the hot side to the cool side, I moved his dry hide from the cool side to the hot side, put a fake suction cup plant on the aquarium glass above his dry hide, and got one of those "reptile hammocks" and stuck it to the glass above and in front of his dry hide.

Now, Garrett is not really eating and sleeping all the time. I am trying to feed him crickets and he sometimes eats a few, but many of them are not being eaten and they walk right past him and he doesn't care. He used to devour at least 14 crickets in a sitting now he doesn't even care. I'm not sure if it's because I changed his cage around, or because if we gave him too many waxworms one day. We bought him waxworms a week ago and we were too excited and gave him 3 of them and 1 the next day. I hope he's not addicted to them and that's not the problem.

Also, he's not staying in his hides anymore, he's just sleeping and laying in the corner now underneath the reptile hammock all the time, almost 24/7 I never see him anywhere else. I don't know if he thinks the reptile hammock being above him is like a hide, or not, but it's really not as secluded or dark as the other hides int he tank but he's not going in them.

And the reptile hammock is above the corner he poops in, and today he just climbed up on the hammock and pooped on it instead of down in the corner he usually poops in. But he sleeps now in the corner that he usually poops in, so I don't blame him.

Help!

Anyone know what's wrong?

Last night I gave him 7 large crickets and he ate 4 of them rather quickly which made me happy cause he wasn't eating anything for 2 days, but today (tonight) there is still 3 crickets running around the cage and he doesn't care.

He is about 4-6 months old I think, bought him 3 months ago when he was a juvenile, he quite a bit bigger now and I know when they get bigger they don't eat as much, but still he's not active and concerning me.

How long you think until he goes back to normal? He's been like this for 4 days now...

Also did we hurt him by giving him 3 waxworms in 1 day and 1 waxworm every day the next 3 days?

Give him a week to get him used to his new surroundings. There is a possibility you've spoiled him by giving him waxies everyday.Dont fee him for 3-4 days and then give him his reg food

Do you think it's possible he doesn't want to eat the large crickets? I checked on him a couple hours ago, and a cricket was sleeping on his tail, and he was asleep...

wtf lol!

Between two terrariums
My leo is more likely to turn down prey that's too small rather than too large, but I suppose it's possible. Being stressed and/or just tired of crickets in general seem more likely.

Well I tried different food items today.

I bought some mealworms (normal ones, very small for him now) and he showed a lot of interested in them and ate them rather quickly!

He's still ignoring crickets though and doesn't even care about them.

I also gave him a superworm after the mealworms and the minute he saw that thing he darted right after the superworm and devoured it. But I don't know how many superworms to give him, or mealworms since he's so big now (7 inches total length, 4 inches body length)

Is it OK to leave superworms in tank or will it attack gecko? Because they are huge

Give him as many as he wants.leave some meal worms not super worms in a shallow dish.
