Gartner Snakes

Has anyone ever heared of these as pets? I am not sure this is the correct section but none of the others seemed to fit. At the local big box chain by me I noticed they had a couple of gartner snakes and I laughed at myself thinking about how often I find these lil guys. Do they make good pets? They are awfully cute haha.

i've had a few as temporary pets that came from my back yard. if you get a calm one they're really cool, but holy crap do they let off a stink when they want you to back off.

Garters make awesome pets.
They only require a very basic and small setup an can be housed together

Their diet is rather tricky
They like to eat earthworms especially as juveniles, but if you can get them to eat F/T pinkys or pinky parts you've got a great pet. They will also eat feeder fish, frogs, lizards, snails, and slugs but for those there is a risk of parasites.
