My gecko is actually peeing out some clear liquid and then the white urate. Is this suppose to be normal? I notice she does this pretty often. Her tank is standard: 90* on one side, 6 mealworms a day, water replaced everyday. Is there anything I may be doing wrong? Thanks!

Hmm not too sure what this might be mate. Best to take it to a vet just to be sure. Apart from this everything u are doing seems to be great. The only other thing i would reccomend would be a dusting of calcium and vitamin suppliments on the mealworms 2-3 times a week. :)
hope it all works out mate

Is the liquid only coming out with the urates? If it is I wouldn't worry too much, my gecko has poo, white urates, and occasionally a wet spot/liquid portion in his poo corner.

I think most leos have a liquid portion to their bowel movements and people usually only find the droppings after they've dried. Wait and see what everyone else thinks but it's probably nothing to lose sleep over.

I would say it's not a big deal at all. Reptiles and birds only produce urate when they have to because it's more extensive and harder on the kidneys. She's probably just excreting the liquid because she is plenty hydrated. Kinda like me and you drinking a lot of water and having clear pee

nothing is wrong with your gecko. Sounds like it's just very hydrated (stated above). I've had some pee on me while trying to sex them, shoots straight up in the air like a little boy with the diaper off... Just don't get pee'd on...

It's pee. My geckos pee on me all the time when I'm trying to get off the stuck shed or medicate them. Sometimes it's the white urates, sometimes just the clear pee.
