Anyone use gecko egg organizers? I got some, had 2 clutches of fat tail eggs in it. One clutch got mold, and took out one of the fertile eggs next to it. Ugh. Anyone else have this trouble?

I may try using them for the first time this year so did a bit of research before trying. I read that if you have the perlite or vermiculite (or whatever you're using to hold moisture) actually touching the GEO it can cause problems. The substrate should be a good half centimeter or more from the bottom of the GEO. Could that have been the issue?

Pat Kline did a video on how to use them correctly:

Great information! I lost 4 eggs the first time I used a GEO, so I took them out. I had too much perlite in the cup. Might be time to try them out again.

I use the GEO for incubation of leopard gecko eggs and love it. Be careful with how much water you add to the medium.
