Gecko Eye Issue

Im a 1st time Leo owner and have had my Zeek for 1.5 yr now no issues at all. Today I noticed he had some skin hanging on his eye and wasnt opening it, like he had shed and that part just didnt come off. No biggy he let me remove it and went about his business but I looked at him again a minute later and he had a small bead of clear liquid there were I had removed the skin (or I guess possibly scab). He is in a cage by his self my other leo is a much more aggressive female so fighting is actually impossible. Any one have any ideas, I dont want to over exagerate this and take him to a vet and be charged for some simple fix that a veteran leo owner could help me with. PLLLEEEEEAASE anyone?

Try flushing his eye out with sterile water or saline solution to make sure it's cleaned out. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it heals properly on it's own if it was a scab. If it starts becoming swollen and looks like it's getting worse then it's time to go to the vet.

Thanks for the advice it is swollen. Guess I will be calling the vet
