My leo is almost a year old and has always seemed very healthy. He hasn't been eating quite as much recently, but still eats quite often and poops everyday/every other day. I'm thinking he's been eating less because it's winter and he's getting older.

This afternoon, I was in my room and suddenly heard a noise that almost sounded like a dry cough. I looked in his tank and saw him do it a couple more times. It almost looked like he was attempting to regurgitate. His body stiffened and he closed his eyes, tightened his throat and opened his mouth.

Other than that, he seems to be acting normal, although he's been a bit less active lately, but it's been really cold here. I have noticed that sometimes it looks like he has trouble swallowing, though.

Any idea what this could be? His UTH is around 90 degrees. I feed him mealworms dusted with Rapashy calcium. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I really don't have enough money to take him to the vet right now.

EDIT
This isn't my video, but this is exactly what he's doing.
