Hello, I am new to this site so I hope I am going about this correctly. I have a leopard gecko, which I believe is male (his name is Houdini) and he is at least 6 (I am his second owner), I have had him for 3+ years and got him from a cousin who could not care for him anymore. I have recently gone to college and left my gecko in my brothers care. I return often enough to ensure he is being taken care of and to make sure everything is in order. He is fed mealworms once every other day but due to recent problems I will elaborate on in a minute, I now feed him everyday. (Process is simply putting them in tank near Houdini and then taking out leftovers when he is done, making sure they don't stray. I do not use supplements but have tried in the past, when I tried he would not eat them. In the past he has stopped eating in the summer, I went to the vet and we worked through this. Now my struggle is that he is not eating again. He will take an occasional mealworm but not enough. He has gotten really skinny which shows me he is not eating enough. Lately he approaches the food to eat it but somehow can not coordinate the snatch and often misses, after missing enough he gives up and goes to his hide. Sometimes he is able to get one mealworm but it takes so much time and effort he won't eat anymore. He has been pooping but it is small and lately it has only been the white part. I am worried their is something wrong with his eye that is making this difficult but I am not sure and am in desperate need of some advice. I am hoping to get in contact with my vet soon but was hoping for some suggestions first...
