So like- bold striped tremper albino ? One has super pale eyes and the other a dark green? Why the difference? Thanks for the help! I have been out o' gex for 6 years and diving back in- there are so many new morphs to get straight! :)

Seriously? Is that the way to treat new people? Alrighty then. I guess it doesn't even matter to you that they aren't even 50 grams yet-and ASKING is a method of research? Or that I was seeking ADVICE--- I guess to you it's just what? A way to get insulted by jerks? Though you were helpful. Guess not. Do me a favor and keep you unhelpful, negitve, jerk ass comments to yourself or on other peoples threads because I am not intrested. Grow up and be helpful or say nothing.

At least all the lizards I have- have all those toes.

wrong attitude to have here if you really want help. there are a ton of people who come here after buying their first geckos with absolutely no idea what they are doing, and they ask breeding questions. from an earlier post you mentioned you were getting back into geckos. i think what im faster was saying was that before you start asking "what will i get" you should find out "what you have" by doing research or asking questions. it's ok to ask questions, but your response to his opinion wasn't called for. and i have almost 300 leos myself and some have had bad sheds and lost toes. it's not that uncommon. so please, check the attitude at the door and you will find more people willing to help out. just to get started, you can use a simple punnett square to determine genetic outcomes of pairings, or you can use a leopard gecko morph calculator like this

http://www.leopardgeckomorphcalculator.co.uk/MorphCalculator.aspx

either way, very nice looking geckos and they both look like jungle tremper albinos

its true that you do need research before you breed, if not you geckos could die, also you might need to know what the morphs of the perents of your geckos, for example they could be hets for something else and end up getting something unexpected.

"Morphs and Genetics Have a question about a particular leopard gecko morph? What do you produce when you breed two morphs to each other? This is the place to ask!"

I was just going off of what the forum said this catagory was for.
I didn't know it was a place to go to be told to do LOTS of research before you breed.

I have been out for 6 years. At that time the newest thing was SHTCT. I am a stay at home mom. I have A TON of time to research. I know how to take care of geckos. I am not asking how many times to dust or if I should buy a heat rock.

I am asking about 3 new lizards I got in a LOT purchase that I was TOLD are this or that and I dont belive the person that sold me. I wouldn't have asked if I could FIND the info myself online. I looked for 3 days and couldn't find any others that look like the ones I was told were "hybino strips" and the second photo is of what I was told is " a sunglow enigma". I have a Mack Snow Tremper Albino Enigma--- whose liniage I KNOW- that is IDENTICAL to the "sunglow enigma". They are EXACT in coloring down to the white toes. I understand the enigma gene as far as don't breed two together. That I GET. I don't understand the role it plays and no one can provide a clear answer. It's NEW and not very well explained.

That's why I got on here and started asking questions. I have ENOUGH issues in regular everyday life. I don't need to be treated like garbage by anyone. Especially people that are wanting to hide behind a computer screen and tell me to research- which I was ALREADY DOING, or call me a LITTLE GIRL, FYI He's 26 and I am 29.. I am older. So the only thing he was TRYING to say is that he thinks he's better than me- no matter HOW you twist that around. I've done some research and it seems that he has had problems offending people before with his abrasive condescending attitude. And how am I an idiot for waiting until my geckos weigh 50 grams to breed them?

I have ALREADY found Love's Genetic Calculator. Just so happens I dont think it works very well because--- How in the HECK--- am I supposed to enter the ermine gene? Which- AGAIN is a new morph. I came here with questions about mophs. I am a hobby breeder. I have had reptiles for over a decade and have never thought it was "ok" to lose toes. I have been through plenty of "bad" sheds and I have always taken the time and care to insure they make it through without losing toes.

I didn't join this forum to make any enemies. Quite the contrary. I am sorry if I made anyone angry by asking my questions. I have other geckos that I do know what they are and what their genetics are. I just wasn't sure of the three I asked on.

You have two Bold Stripe Tremper Albino females and one Tremper Enigma male. If you breed them, you'll have the chance to get 50% Tremper Enigmas and 50% Tremper Albinos. Probably none of the babies will have perfect stripes like the mothers, but they can be jungles or broken stripes.

Be aware that when you breed to an Enigma, your Enigma babies might develop the Enigma syndrome (head wobblies, star gazing, circling, bad aim, etc.). Not a good idea and a waste of the stripe gene, in my opinion! I would get a nice Bold Stripe Tremer male and breed him to your pretty females. Then, you have the chance of getting striped offspring, and you wouldn't get any neurologically dysfunctional offspring.

If you want to get more color in, get a Tremper male with a nice carrot head/carrot tail! :main_yes:

Good luck,

Chrissy

You can't be sure of what you have unless the breeder kept good records and shared them with you. Phenotype does not always accurately portray the complete genotype. What is your motivation to breed these animals?

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

I don't have any end game for that combo. The lady I bought them from had them together and I am not sure what happened durning that time... (I'm sure breeding occured...but I am hoping naught comes of it) I am acctually considering selling the females as a pair. They don't really fit my program. Niether does the male- but he is something I can use down the road.

I am currently working with snow bells and super snow bells. I just got a Giant snow bell male for my group, but who knows.. I also have a super snow tremper female. I will see what I can figure out.

Thanks again for the useful help. I really did try to find out what they heck they were by looking at so many websites! I just really couldn't find anything that looked like they do...
