Gecko not eating shed skin

The last 2 sheds, our leopard gecko has not eaten her enter shed. She eats about... 1/2 of it and leaves some behind. I know that instinctually she shouldn't leave even a morsel behind. She is eating properly, her temps are find and she has a humid hide that stays moist and good. She has a cool side and warm side with humidity ranging between 20-35 depending on the day. Unfortunately, we have only been feeding her mealworms for the last several months. We are going to start feeding her crickets/phoenix worms and what not again but wanted to hear what you guys think about this.

Any help is appreciated!

Also to add, she shed properly with none left behind on her toes. She also is acting normal and being quite social so it appears as though everything is okay. Just looking for a little reassurance that she is okay. If it matters, she is 1 1/2 years about.

I haven't noticed if Echo eats her shed skin or not. I feel I am giving her adequate nutrition so I don't really worry about it. To me it's more of an issue of curiosity.

Sometimes some of mine leave some of their shed behind. I think I would only be concerned if your gecko eats none of it, or if you're having retained shed issues. This would tell me that dehydration is a factor. Does your gecko use her moist hide? I find if mine choose to shed outside of their moist hide, that they eat less of their skin. Not sure why.

I know my newest gecko Thor ( my avatar) had his first shed with me last week and he left pieces of shed ALL over his tank, he even moved hides and everything rubbing up on stuff. He absolutely refuses to use his moist hide.
