Gecko Not Eating

My gecko is really not eating. She occasionally looks at a mealworm that I drop into the terrarium, licks it, and then turns away, uninterested. Why is this?

Details: Temperature on hot side are mid 90's, temperature on cold side are low 80's
I've had my gecko for a month and have been handling her 1-2 times per day.
I use an infrared heater, an undertank heater, a deodorizing bulb, and a uvb 150 bulb.
I house my gecko on repticarpet
My gecko vomited before she started her non-eating phase
I took her calcium dish out due to the vomiting, to see if this was the cause.
She has some dry skin on her snout that didn't come off in her last shed.

This post really belongs in the "health" section. :)

Anywho...here we go..lol: :D

1) No overhead bulbs are needed unless for your viewing..even then, choose 1 that won't bother them (or atleast very little).

2) You mentioned the other day that your gecko is "disinterested" in you. After reading this, I would like more details about when your gecko a) quit running from you; b) vomited; and c) stopped eating.

3) You mentioned in another post 2 days ago that you are considering getting another gecko to go with your current gecko... DrC recommended quarantining new purchases to make sure they are healthy. This also applies to your first gecko....no roommates until she is healthy for 3months+.

4) Your warm temps are a little too warm (maybe because of the overhead bulbs).

5) put the calcium (without d3) back, and be sure you moderately use d3 and a multivitamin supplement (per directions on the bottles.)

Please post this situation in the "health" section, and you MUST copy/paste the "questionaire" at the top of that section into your post...then answer. All the questions it asks are relevant to determining "no-eating" or illness/parasite issues. :(

I didn't get another gecko, and come to think of it, that's the exact order that things happened 1. Indifference 2. Vomiting 3. Cease of eating. I just put this in the health section.

In general, if you realize you've put your thread in the wrong section, post on the thread and ask the moderator to move it, rather than re-posting the same info on the other thread. I've fixed everything up for you.
