I have a lady on craigslist who is trying too sell 2) baby California Banded Geckos $50.00 for both. How good a deal is this and is it a good deal? I cant find them any where..

Depends on which species. I only know California law and coleonyx variegatus variegatus is the only legal one to catch. Make sure you don't buy something you can't keep.

I live in columbia SC so I believe (if my source is right) i can keep..They are baby Cali Banded Gecko's I cant FIND them for sale any where thats why i was curious..Here are the pics of the little rascals...

Marcia would know more about this. There are different banded geckos, each with their own laws. I'd get ahold of your local wildlife federal office.

I have bred (and am breeding) Coleonyx variegatus which is what these look like from what I can tell from the picture. THere should be no problem owning them and/or breeding them in S. Carolina. When I bred them 2 years ago I was selling them for $25 each, so I think this is a good deal. They are really entertaining little guys. I have 4 eggs in the incubator now with more coming and since I got a really special little male from someone during the winter, I hope to have something fairly unusual to show off in a few months.
