gecko sleeping in cold area

ive got two geckos in one large tank with a red light the temperature has been between 70-80 with a 90 hot spot. but one of my geckos has been sleeping/ staying in the coldest part of the tank. hes been eating and drinking normal but its been about three days of this. just a little worried and wanted to know if i should worry more about it.

the the gecko has been completely normal

Are you measuring temperature on the floor or in the air? If you're measuring temp in the air, it's probably a lot hotter than 90 on the floor and the gecko is avoiding it because it's too hot. If not, some of them do spend time on the cool side in the winter, almost as if they're trying to brumate.
