Well its like this, i forgot too feed s/he 4 nights ago, the following morning al was very hungry, ate 7 melies, he hasent eaten since, but he will lick them... any advice?
Well i figured out the problem, lol my UTH was burned out im going too get anew one at petco right now. i wonder if they have any reptile dens while im down there.
How big should the UTH be,like half the size of the tank? And what side does it go on,the cool side or the warm side?:main_robin: Sorry I need to know everything about my gecko so he's healthy.
DO I need a thermostat or rheostat?Because I can't afford it and my parents told me I have to get the stuff.I have only $13 so thats good for a 10-20 gallon UTH I found online.
Yeah... mine hasent ate since tuesday, all he will do is lick them, i wanna take him too the vet up the street but my mom will not let me, how long can they go without eating?
After you get the belly temp. right, you will hopefully get it feeding. They can go quite a while without eating. I force fed one for eight months before he finally ate on his own. Dropped from 123 grams to 106 .....then finally began to eat on his own. Looked and acted healthy all this time even at 106. I just kept forcing 3 to 4 worms down him each day or two. After 8 months of this when he started on his own, he ate a wax worm that I dropped in. So I kept dropping them in front of him and counting. He took 30 before he quit. He built his weight back to the 120 range.....Keep with it....Take care. / HJ
