So I'm new here and I have a question regarding cleaning out your leopard gecko's cage. So I am getting a new gecko soon so I started getting everything ready from cleaning my old tank to new supplies. Anyways, I have a 20 gallon long tank, and I cleaned it out with palmolive dish soap. It is hypoallergenic, has no heavy fragrances, and has non-irritating dyes. So it was the best soap I could find. So after I scrubbed it clean, I rinsed it with hot water for a good 5 mins then wiped it down and left it outside in the sunlight for 2 hours. Now, do you guys think its safe for a gecko? And as I said, I haven't gotten the gecko yet so I still have time to rinse it some more or clean it some other way. Just let me know what you guys think I should do.Thanks!
