Gecko waving tailslowly!!

Okay yesterday i noticed he was due to shed so i sprayed using fine mist sprayer in the tank just help keep up humidity, as well i checked the moist hide which was humid.
Not intentionally did i see him hiding behind silk vine and was already shedding and must have scared him, or wet him. When i noticed he did not seem bothered he carried on chomping away and pulling skin off, later that day i put my hand in tank to change water he made a lil chirp noise and started wagging tail slowly & high, i never tried pick him up but put my hand next to him on the floor to show not a threat and he ran so fast and hid.

Today i literally walked in room and he wagging his tail at me. Been 45mins and he in same place wagging tail.

Any info on what to do or leave him day or 2???

He's just spooked. I've noticed geckos get pretty skittish when they are shedding, probably by instinct. Give him a day or two he should be better.

I had gecko 2 months now and from being a novice to now it first time it happened to me.
He stopped tail wagging he seems quite active but not his usual activeness. I havnt pick him up thought id wait till tomorrow. Looked elsewhere on net def seems to be towards a agressive behavour!! Im shocked at how tame and soft to suddenly killer gecko lol.

Agressive/deffensive, hes telling you to back off. He may have been spooked when you misted him, they can take a day or two to calm down, its common.

Wow whata change around !!!

He standing up against the glass when i come close, i go away he stays there when i come back he climbing again like he wants out. So i get him out picked up like normal he climbing seems very lively!!
