gecko with no tail

today it was at pet quarters (local) and there was a beautiful leo that had her tail missing, she was on sale from 60 to 35$ do you think if i get her, her tail will grow back ok? would it be a bad idea to get a loe with an already dropped tail?

Good things to look at when buying a gecko from a petshop are the following. If u can answer all of these questions with a positive answer, the gecko should be ok.


1) what kind of housing is the gecko being kept in?
2) how clean is the environment?
3) What sustatrate is being used?
4) When has the gecko been last fed?
5) How plump/healthy-looking is the leo?
6) Is it alert and active/curious if picked up/pet?
7) Does it have any physical damage other than tail loss?
8) Is it being kept with another species?


These questions will help u determine if the gecko is safe to bring home. if u can answer these questions for us the gf.net people including me can help u determine if u should take a chance
