Geckos won't stool in good spots

I have two female leopard geckos. One insists on pooping in her moist hide. She will then have trouble shedding because she won't use her moist hide for its purpose. So I put another moist in. And she proceeds to stool in that hide too. I've tried moving the hides around and she still poops in both of them. She is about to lay eggs as well and I am unsure if she will lay in one of the moist hides or not.
The other female I have (housed separately) poops on top of her warm hide (slate rocks) and it always falls down into her hide where she sleeps.
My other geckos do great with picking a corner where I can put paper towel and clean easily.
Any ideas on how to change where a gecko poops?

You could try taking everything out, cleaning it thoroughly and putting it back with some rearrangements. As far as where they're going to poop, they're worse than toddlers (and I had twins!). Good luck.
