Can anyone give me a good site to learn basic genetics? I've done some breeding but never fine tune breeding. I'm thinking of getting into breeding AFTs but want to take some time to learn a little more on the genetics side. Any Help!

I put together a genetics page for my site. There are some extra resources listed there that may also help. Basic genetics works the same for all species, so a good foundation is essential. Then you can learn about the morphs of any species relatively easily!

I highly recommend Genetics for Herpers by Chuck Pritzel. It is a very short, clear introduction to genetics. When we review genetics in the courses I teach I like to use the Biologica program - many find it more fun than trying to read a textbook. Free download available through the link at the bottom of my genetics page.

For AFTs:
Amel, stripe, and patternless all seem to be simple recessive mutations.
Whiteout is codominant
I don't know how white socks or jungle work.
