:bigcry: I can't take these nasty things anymore. They're coming up from the basement and running across the carpet & up my walls. I want to cry. The one pictured is about 2 1/2 - 3" long and now I'm all creepy crawly & don't want to move off my office chair. :bigcry:

Oh good lord I hate those things.... basically anything with more than 6 legs or so creep me out something fierce. Niki is always making fun of me because I make her kill them... I'm not getting close to the things!

Ooooohh! I didn't know they bite! We have those all over work, and I see them at my in-laws house as well. I'll admit, I get quite jumpy and girly when I see one run by.

Awesome! Just take two plastic cups, scop him up and toss him outside....Of course then he may just come back in. so if your that scared of them....just step on him.

I don't like killing bugs. I usually catch them and let them go. There are exceptions to the rule though. Ants, fleas, and ticks, I will kill in a heartbeat.

I cought this guy in my house the other night.

oh and it's not a ton, but they're also slightly venomous according to the websites I looked up last night when stef showed me that

I couldn't get near enough to it (without wanting to gag) to squish it, so I got a nice big spray bottle of clorax & cloraxed it to death.

Though I could have been really bad and pulled the 22 out... :rifle: But then I would have gotten in trouble when Chris got him... :main_rolleyes:

The darn things only come out at night when I'm usually up & about. The itty bitty ones don't bother me, but when they get this size... :dizzy:

Yup. The only thing I like about them is that they eat some of the creepy spiders in the basement.

this is also true...although they aren't doing their job in my basement, I have these huge black spiders that I know bite!! They also like to hide in laundry...so when I was picking through my baskets...a few popped up and said HI!

I used to have those centipedes in an apartment I lived in, I must've killed a dozen or more, but I didn't know they were centipedes at the time. They are fast and ugly and I can't stand them. I am not big on bugs in general, but I have no problem with crickets and mealworms. I was bitten by a big black carpenter ant as a child, it hurt, and I think it permanently affected me. :(
