I will be getting a new male gecko. I do not have any space for him in my aquariums so I need to get him a plastic one. He is still a sub adult but i need the box to be good for the adult.

What size should be the plastic box?

I'm not sure if you're talking about a plastic tub or another type of enclosure. If you mean a plastic tub, then figure that a single gecko is usually kept in a 10 gallon tank, 10"x20" or 200 sq. inches. Measure the length and width of plastic tubs at the local store and get one that's about 200 sq. inches. Otherwise, go to the petstore and get the larger size "faunarium" or "kritter keeper" that measures about 17"x14", is clear with a ventilated plastic cover. That would be good for 1 gecko. If you go the tub route you'll need to use the cover and drill airholes at the sides.
