I noticed my Gecko this morning looking really white! I am happy because I have never noticed this in the 2 months I have had him. How long will it take him to shed? Like one day from now? tonight? Im guna keep misting his hide frequently and put some fresh moist peat moss

It depends, sometimes I'll notice mine's about to shed and think it'll definitely happen that night only for it to be a few more days. Then sometimes I'll see them that very night shedding. I'd just keep doing what you're doing and he'll get to it when he's ready.

Yea sounds like he is about to do it in the next day. Its exciting if you actually get to watch him "eat himself" haha.
Sounds like your doing everything you need to. Should be fine.

Tiamat is very discreet about her shedding. But typically she does it the very same night I see her turning white. I know because, the very next day her colors are so vibrant. :D

So he got it all except for the head? You're gonna have to help him get it off. Use a wet q-tip and tweezers to gently remove it. Be careful not to hurt him when pulling the skin off. Or poke his eye out with the tweezers.

Not really. Unless he rubs it off by accident or if he remembers its up there. Which is highly unlikely that he will. Hmmm...you're just going to have to try to get him to let you hold him in order to get it off. Unless there's another way...which someone else would have to help you with as I'm not familiar with it. Sorry I cant be more help

My male had stuck shed on his head once (and he's not terrified of me, he's just not fond of being held), so I just waited until he was asleep and took a wet Q-tip and rubbed it off. It might take you a few tries but you can usually get it off enough for them to notice and they do the rest themselves.
