1/3 of the time my gecko lunges for crickets, he bites pieces of the carpet to!
He shakes and trys to rip it off, or maybe he got stuck because of his teeth (do leopard geckos have teeth?). Does this happen to anyone else? Could it be stressing the gecko out?

Geckos do have teeth, so it is very possible that this is why he is getting stuck to the carpet.

If using carpet I would recommend something similar to this:

They will not get stuck on this. I can guarantee it, as I’ve personally used it.

I have never tried that brand before, but that Repti-carpet stuff that PetStupid sells is worthless.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I will try some.
