What exactly is a ghost

As I understand it, it refers to coloring that's very pale and in some cases kind of looks like there's a translucent color overlaying the regular color. In some geckos it looks as if the gecko is going into shed all the time. I have a Ray Hines line SHTCT that is supposed to be a ghost and is much paler than most tangs.

Its a dominate trait discovered by ray hines in the 90s. it creates a hypo animal that tends to be paler than if it didnt have the trait.

thats weird i got a different definition from steve but i dont know. I have a ray hine hypo and i bred it to a snow and that "no spots on the back is less of the case" the one i actually have it looks as if snow and hypo co-dom fused or is having a fight on whos the more dominate one!
