This morning before I went to school I checked the incubator and saw a new hatchling- almost made me late to class. It looks to be either a Giant Dreamsicle or Giant Nova. Came from Male Raptor [Golden Gate Geckos] and a Female Giant Snow Enigma het Tremper 50% het Eclipse [Leopard Geckos Unlimited]. First egg hatched proved the mother to be het Raptor. Also, both the Giant Dreamsicle and the Giant Novas are 1/32 shots, same as the possibility of hatching a Normal from these parents (lucky me). Dimension-wise it looks elongated with a very long tail, making me think it's a giant (last pic shows this best). It's a TSM, the only one of the 6 eggs the female has laid so far that I tossed in the Male Incubator. I've got my fingers crossed. Please give your input.

WOOHOO.

Personally I'm leaning towards a Giant Nova.

ha ha welcome to the club. I have a couple questionable ones as well :) Snows have been known to hatch with a touch of color (especially when dealing with the RAPTOR genetics) and not snows have been known to be lightly colored. So its really hard to tell somtimes. You should have a better idea in a few weeks though.
Congrats either way! Im gonna guess Nova :)

Davey... Congrats it Could be Either what was the Incubation temps? As for it Being a Giant you will have to grow it out to make sure.

But Either way Its an Enigma Raptor.

Incubated for male, 88-90 deg. Which could mean it's light just because of that. It sucks that it's so hard to tell these apart due to the enigma gene messing with the colors.

But this is the longest gecko I've hatched so far. Looks way longer than the one I hatched yesterday. This one is bout 3.5 inches.

I think you have to wait one ore two sheds to be 100% sure.
But what I can say is you have a very amazing hatchling there and I keep my fingers crossed for an Giant Dream:)

i'm gonna go with giant nova, only because after reviewing the dreamsickle and nova pics on wiki, this looks more like the novas cause of the circular spotted patterns, and the dreams looked more like almost no pattern but some blotches or lines.
