My local petstore sells "Giant Mealworms" and I guess they are given a growth hormone to make them get bigger and not change into beetles. Im sure if they sell them they wont hurt your leo but I heard that they will actually bite humans because the growth hormone makes them agressive, are these at all dangerous to feed my leo? or are they just like normal mealworms but just bigger? Thanks for the feed back! :D

Giant mealworms are fine for your leos. They are no different than normal mealworms besides larger in size. However, they still will pupate and turn into beetles. The beetles will be larger than normal one but they will produce normal size mealworms.
