According to information posted
and other readings
.....supposedly giant mealworms are raised
on hormons, steroids or whatever to delay them from going through their normal life cycle stages...
thus getting them larger than normal...
so if gecko breeding were to be of interest....????...
again from readings, not experience,
a possibility of being sterile could be in place.
I have no proof but with other feeders why chance it.
Probably popular with people feeding birds and such.
Take care. HJ
I have heard what HJ is talking about but I personally feed giant mealworms to all my breeders and have had zero diverse affects on the breeders themselves or their offspring. But that's not to say it has never happened either.
