Giant?

I also posted this pic in the 'Show off Your Geckos' forum as an update on these babies, but would like some confirmation as to whether everyone else thinks Soleil is a Giant.

They are from Sunglow het Raptor x Giant Tang Tremper het Raptor

They are just over 2 weeks and Soleil (on top in pic) is over 5.5" now, almost a full inch longer than her clutchmate. This is my first clutch with a possible outcome of Giants, so I'm not positive. To the best of my ability I would say she is. She seems very lanky compared to her sister (who hatched at 4 grams and seems to be growing at a normal rate).

Can you weigh Soleil?

There was a thread not too long ago about hatchling weights for giants and super giants...the general consensus was that 8g at three weeks old was big enough to be a giant, and 12g at 3 weeks old was most likely super giant. Moose (RIP) was 14g at 4 weeks.

We are hoping for giant offspring as well, and our hatchlings aren't 3 weeks old yet, but they are both about the same size, and they seem big. One is 12 days old and is 6.9 grams, and the other is 9 days old and 6.5 grams.

It seems to be average size but you will definately find out in the next couple of weeks. Here is a link to hatchling sizes and page 2 has a link to Trempers website with Mooses weights.
