Giants or not?

A friend of mine hatched these two from a giant x normal pairing, and would like some input about if they look like giants or not. I've heard that giant hatchlings have an 'enlongated' look to them, but truth to be told I'm not too fond of giants and haven't paid attention to it.

I hope someone who has worked with giants and has a more trained eye than mine can tell.

In case it helps: they are 3 or 4 days old (they haven't eaten anything yet) and weigh 6 and 4 grams.

In my experience, you won't get any giants unless you breed giant to giant. You'll get some intermediate sized geckos, so you'd have to grow them out, (keep an eye on the ones that hatch out heavier than normal) Super giants are the ones that are long and lanky--you can usually tell at hatch--the head, tail and body are all abnormally long and slender. And they don't really get chubby/stocky until they're nearly full grown. Also, most of my super giants produce HUGE eggs--about 1.5+ times the average egg. Hope this helps :)

I thought Giant was A co-dom trait. So in theory you should get Giant's from Giant x normal= 50% giant ,50% normal

Several breeders wait to grow the SUPERS and Giants out to make sure they are 90% certain what they are selling or advertising. People who are selling Giant offspring and are not 100% if they are Giant, are listing them as Possible giants which they are until they are grown out and can be determined Giant or non giant. Guess you just have to work with the morph a bunch to be able to start seperating them from the egg. I only have 2 Super Giant Females myself so Hopefully some giants will be around later this year?

Cool yeah i only have a giant male my self he is sitting at a nice 98grams yeah may not sound like a big giant but if you saw him with him being this big he has some super definition in his muscles looks like a body builder lol i think he has hit his growth wall and is starting to fatten up now so it will be nice to see where he goes from here

Neither look like giants usually giants look gangly or have a lot of torso between their front and back legs, but you never know.

I have a giant he weighs in at 115 grams and still moving up but much slower now. lol he still looked very skinny at 80 grams. He is just over a year old now.
