It's almost Thanksgiving, and I thought I would share some of the things I am thankful for...

I am thankful for my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and the freedom to worship Him.

I am grateful to be blessed with my wonderful family.

I am thankful that I live in the United States of America.

I am thankful for my beautiful, gentle creatures.

I am grateful to have lots of wonderful friends in the gecko community.


There are so many more things to be thankful for... care to add yours?

I'm thankful to wake up every morning. And that one of the first things I hear is "MOMMY!"

I am thankful that my grandparents are still with us, both have been sick off and on for a few years.

I am thankful that I have a supportive family in all my wacky business ideas that have turned out to be the best move careerwise for me. When most asked, "Why, you have everything you could want?" my family understood and stood by me.

I'm thankful for the love of my animals, when all is crazy and a mess my animals keep me sane.

Even though I recently lost my beautiful mother to Leukemia and my dad 5 years ago from a Hospital mistake. I am so very thankful for the support I got here from my great new Gecko/reptile friends who helped me( and still are) getting though this. I will miss my moms food on Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! LOL! But her memory will be there across from me as I eat and give thanks for all the years she was with me.I am also thankful for my family who has been my life support. I am thankful for all my pets, creatures that I HAVE to care for everyday because it keeps my mind off mom and the rescues I am able to help so that they have a second start in life. I am thankful to our Lord for being there to listen to my every pray-even if some were not possible to come true. And Lastly I thank the Native Americans- my people for being caring and trusting to the whiteman, that a ThanksGiving exists today. Though I am only part Native American, I value the culture because animals mean alot to them. I believe each animal has a spirit and we should respect every single one of them. I am very thankful that I still have my 83 year old mother to talk to every single day and she is doing great!!
I am thankful for all of my animals
They give me comfort and a direction to continue on with when i am lost in all of the confusion that life can be
I am thankful for a roof over my head and food on the table and heat and lights and a/c in the summer-LOL
I am thankful for this forum and everyone that makes it the wonderful place that it is to come and hang out
I'm sure that there are many things that I'm not mentioning-but I'm thankful for just about everything

I am thankful that we were able to spend a wonderful Thanksgiving with dear friends in Portland and that we made it back through the pass before there was too much snow!

I am thankful for my Husband. He loves me,Treats me with respect, takes care of me, is my best friend, and allows me to have lots of geckos.

I am thankful for my Father who has always held our family together and will do anything for anyone even if it means he will be without. Even going through the health and financial problems he has had lately, he stays strong and continues to be the most loving, giving, and helpful person I have ever known.

I am thankful for My mother who Is a great friend and is always there for me when I need her.

I am thankful for the rest of my family because they are all awesome.

I am thankful for all of my pets. with out them I would be really bored.

I am thankful for Geckoforums.net and all the great people here. I do belive that this is the most awesome place on the web.
