So I figure I should get her in to the vet this week considering we got her from a pet store... I don't really have any concerns besides the fact that her colors haven't really came back very bright since her shed. We got the temps right and she is eating well and seem pretty happy other than that.

When a Leo has dull colors it means they are cold. What is the surface temp?
Of course I may be wrong and I never say no to a good vet checkup...

... No one really knows exactly the right temp for a leopard gecko. Is the whole area 90 degrees? Also, why would you go to the vet for a leopard gecko? I never really understood that.
P.S. some vets barely know about reptiles if I am right. You might need one that specializes in reptiles. You probably know that though :D

For one I would take any of my herps to the vet without question, 2) there are many good vets that deal specically with reptiles and exotics, 3) We do know the exact right temp for leopard geckos, its 89-93. To all knew owners of leopard geckos (FrenzyMode, William) do not give medical advice unless you are absolutely shure and have more experience. There are plenty of experienced owners on here who can give helpful advice, let them do it. I have experience but i am still not going to answer the OP's question because i have never seen anything like what he/shes talking about and would need to see the leo, so that means you guys deffinatly should not be giving advice. I dont mean to come off rude and mean but it really ticks me off when people do that.

That isn't true. The best temperature range for a leopard gecko is 88-95 degrees.

If you want to make sure your gecko is parasite free or if you have a concern about its health, then you would go to the vet, obviously.

So what your saying is if your gecko gets sick your not going to take it to the vet? Just let it die if it can't recover on its own?? If that is the case.... IMO you should not own any pets.

I know some things that I heard from you guys on the forum, that's why I answered.
I agree I'm new but I know a lot of things, about animals and otherwise.

Totally ignorant statement.
You took the responsibility to look after the gecko you purchased, and that includes medical care. No, some vets don't know everything about reptiles. But with 6+ years of school, they know more than "barely anything".

Yeah would you like to sit back and watch your gecko die of parasites or something else?
I'm not trying to be mean, just like a dog or cat you should take your gecko to the vet sometimes. And the vet should know a lot, they had a lot of schooling, like Katie said.

I say if you are concerned, take Echo to the vet. And I feel REALLY sorry for your gecko Frenzy. No one really knows the right temps? You never understood why people take their leopard geckos to the vet? DISGUSTING.
