I always wanted a Savannah Monitor and never could find that special one I wanted until about 6 months ago. Ive always had Geckos and I love them all but I always wanted a savvy and when I got him I had him set up great!! About 4 weeks ago I notice that he slowed way up on eating and then stop all together. I took him to the vet and they ran test and test and found out he had a tumor in his stomach. So after alot of thinking I did the best thing for him and had them put him down. Now I have a empty cage with nothing in it! He was my baby my whole family adored him. We love and miss you Baby Vedder

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you find a new " special" baby to fill that empty tank and to help ease the pain. Another one can never replace veddar but it may help to ease the loss some.

I'm really sorry about your loss. Kinda reminds me of a kitten my family had when I was in the sixth grade. Sweetest little orange tabby ever. But he wasn't long for this world either. Six months old, he hit his head jumping out of my mom's car (it was during December and it was cold, and I guess he had climbed up inside the engine for warmth).

I know how easy it is to get attached to them in such a short time. *hugs*
