good price for a gargoyle gecko?

Im thinking about getting a gargoyle gecko because they are such beautiful geckos. anyways theres this one at my local petstore for, i think it was like 270-300. Isnt that a bit over priced? Now i dont know anything about gargoyle morphs except for stripes and blotches. Same idea as the one in the pic. Should i get the one at the pet store or should I order one from a breeder? What are some breeders near BC, Canada that are kinda cheap?

Definitely consider a breeder over any pet store.

You will find that the price will vary on the morph and the quality of the colors or stripe. 270-300 is high for a regular morph, but pet stores typically mark up the price a ton.

I've seen unsexed retics and average orange blotches for about $50 or so plus shipping. Definitely consider a breeder over a pet store

They are awesome geckos! I got mine at a reptile show. He was $80. It is unsexed. From my understanding the $ goes up as they get older, especially once you can sex them and males are typically a little more. If you are considering getting one, definitley stick with a breader, I wouldn't trust a pet store. I got mine from Eco Severa, you can find them on Facebook.
