The site is great, and they are wonderful to work with. I bought the STC-410 and wish I had done something different, but it was my first rack. I should have gotten belly heat and instead I got back heat....much harder to regulate . I also got the HELIX Thermostat (Digital/Proportional) and that is a must for racks. Hope that helps.

BTW...looked at your site and available geckos....really nice.

We have 5 shoe box and 15q racks from RBI and we've been really happy with them. It's pretty warm down here most of the year so we prefer the back heat. With belly heat it's harder to keep a cool end in the summer.

AZ is warm in the summer so I agree about the summer regulation, but this winter it has been really hard to keep the temps up. I have the back heat on 92 and the mid-way of the shelf registers 75 on two independent thermometers. Do you do any supplemental heating?

We've actually had an unusually cold winter so far but haven't had any problems keeping the tubs warm enough. We've only had a 2-4 degree temperature variance between any of our tubs at one time.
