Goodbye Fishies!

So I'm getting rid of my fish to make room for a new leo. I'm kind of sad to see them go but...I like leos more, I have to say.

Has anyone else had to get rid of a previous pet to allow their love of leos to flourish? :3

i couldnt... a pet is with me for life in most cases... i could never part with my fish to make room for another pet... although im sure my wife wouldnt mind the idea... just be sure they go to a good home...

My only pet beside my Leos is a RTB that I've had since it was fresh out of the egg, I wouldn't think of getting rid of it at all. It's 5 ft+ now.

I have a friend who's taking the fish, thankfully. I haven't had them for very long. They used to be my mother-in-law's until she decided that she couldn't take care of fish any more (I pretty much rescued them. Her previous fish were all dying for some reason.) They're nothing real fancy. A black moor, a white ryukin, and a pleco named Mario. :3

And, Ken, I don't blame you for keeping the RTB. Those snakes are BEAUTIFUL. And so well-mannered most of the time.

i dont think you need to be "fancy" to be a pet... its sad to me when "pets" get passed around... our cat was like that till now pets are something thats a commitment to them to care for... i dunno maybe i just dont have the heart to part with something once we bring it in...

but its cool they are going to a friends house... hopefully they will take great care of them

I sold my fish too, mainly because my parents take care of a handful of my pets since I'm at school. It made the load easier on them and I have more room for reptiles in the future due to the now empty tank.

Personally i couldn't give up any pets i have, they are family. But hey, at least your giving them to a friend who will take care of em.
