Emails asking for gecko info.... :main_rolleyes:

Got both of these from the same person in two different emails.

"I was wondering if you would tell me how long it takes you to sell a high, mediocre, and poor quality gecko on average, from the time it is born, to the time someone purchases it. Thank You. "

"i was wondering how big a leopard gecko would be in inches at the time of birth, 1 month 2 month 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 months old. Thank You"

OMG...OMG...OMG! That is TOO FREAKING FUNNY! I was just coming on here to make a post because I got an email from the same person! But, I only got the 2nd question:

i was wondering how big a leopard gecko would be in inches at the time
of birth, 1 month 2 month 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 months old. Thank You

Did you delete and ignore the email like I did???? :main_cool3: :main_lipsrsealed: :main_evilgrin:

I replied ...

There really is no set guide line to go by for length. As long as the animal is getting the right amount and kind of food with plenty of vitamins all should be good.

Visit www.GeckoForums.net for some great information.

Once I saw the second email and that it was from the same numb nut I just deleted it.

I know, I am mean for deleting the email. I just don't have time to answer all the "Newbie" questions I STILL get, even though it says right on my site that I am on a break! (I feel like Ross from Friends...LOL)

Ive tried to be nice to those emails for way tooooooo long, Ive tried to give them answers based on averages of my records with that notation plus give them the links to the forum, the links to books to buy , care sheets etc, and they just keep on asking. They don't care enough to really read anything, they want the 1 second answer that is 100% this or that and its not that simple, never has been, never will be, and that's it so Ive started deleting them or just acting like I never got them at all.

But I know Im mean!

I don't delete them all, just the rediculously stupid ones. I had a guy email me asking about heating his tank and I answered him and gave him links, etc. because that wasn't a total waste of my time like the other one.

God, I really am getting mean in my old age.

Jeanne, Was it this one? Got it last night.

My 12 year old son would like a gecko, but we are afraid of electric
heating devices due to a fire that we had caused by a heat lamp. Would
something like this work? (it is a 12 hour microwaveable heating pad)

LOL! Yes! That's it! I recommended not using the heat pad and buying a UTH.
